My name is William Pippin and never did I believe I would have the opportunity to share my passion for fly fishing with others. My grandparents, along with my Uncle Clyde, raised me trout fishing in the summers on the Watauga River. Once I moved to Johnson City full-time in 2000, I became an enthusiast trout angler. After many years of learning about the rivers in our area, I know almost every rock and deep hole on the river where the fish will be, and at what times. The Watauga and the South Holston are two of the best rivers in the United States for trout fishing. The Tennessee Valley Authority controls the rivers, and it takes someone with experience who knows the water flows and the currents to catch the big ones. Fishing and the knowledge of the rivers are my passion, and I would appreciate the opportunity to share my knowledge with you and I look forward to offering you a fishing experience like no other.
